A strong personal relationship is the best foundation for creating and implementing a meaningful financial plan. Our process is mainly about you. We’ll provide you with information and resources, but it is about what you need, when you need it, and how you need it.
We have a three-step process to becoming a client.
1. Introductory Meeting
We will come to know each other in our first meeting by discussing what is important to you and sharing our investment philosophies, firm principles, and what you might expect from a relationship with us. It is my intent to understand as much as possible about you, your situation, and your lifetime “money story.” We'll identify your goals, priorities, preferences, and any obstacles you may have. We'll also mutually establish what your expectations are for us, and if an ongoing partnership is the right fit.
2. Investment Proposal
Our second meeting will include a review of key discussion points form our first meeting to confirm my understanding of your financial story and hopes for your financial future. I will present a formal proposal based upon that understanding and answer any questions you may have. Your proposal will include a specific asset allocation that I feel is appropriate for you. The proposal will include a recommendation for a professional portfolio manager to manage your account on a regular basis.
3. Account Set-Up
We will meet to complete paperwork to establish your accounts and transfer investments from existing accounts. This is also an opportunity to confirm that your needs are being met with your best interests in mind and strategies are in place to best meet your goals. Logistics for our ongoing relationship will be reviewed. You will continue to be informed as accounts are established, logins are made available, and transfers are processed.
Following the initial account establishment process, I remain available as your advisor on all things financial in your life. If I am unable to provide a particular service, like insurances, mortgages, etc., we can still discuss your options so you make your best decisions and/or I may be able to refer you to a provider for what you need. It is my honor to be a part of your life and help you achieve financial confidence and security.
You will have both my personal understanding of your situation as well as the experience and expertise of portfolio managers who share my philosophy of active money management. This means your investments receive regular attention and adjustments according to how market indicators align with your personal investment profile and objectives. In addition, I regularly monitor the portfolio managers of your accounts.
